FOCUSING ON WOMEN'S ATHLETICS
The Lady Shocks Squad by Paladin Strategies is dedicated to creating Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) opportunities for female athletes at Wichita State University. College sports changed on July 1, 2021 when student athletes were allowed to begin receiving compensation for use of their NIL. However, much of the NIL focus has been on men's athletics with only a small piece going to women. We plan to narrow this gap with the Lady Shocks Squad, a first of its kind, member-based platform focusing solely on NIL opportunities for the women athletes of Wichita State University.
